The Story behind LavenoraFor most of my life I have been suffering from migraines. I have tried both Western and Eastern Medicine routes with varying successes. For the most part, I am now migraine-free thanks to the many energy healing modalities I have tried, studied myself, and now practice and teach my clients.
In 2007, in an attempt to reduce my triggers, besides reducing the very well known once, I also began to make my own body lotions and creams. And so I started to educate myself; read many books and internet sites about essential oils, aromatherapy, cream making, and natural ingredients. I experimented in my kitchen until I found just the right combination that worked for me. Not only did I experiment with base ingredients but also with different brands of essential oils. I ended up with Young Living as their oils are truly high quality. And for the past year that I have been studying clinical aromatherapy, I am also using essential oils from Aromatics International as the founder and new owner has visited each of their distillers whom they are getting their oils from. And so, around that time I had a past-life-regression session for my migraines. What I learned in this session not only helped my migraines but also contributed to the name of Lavenora. When my therapist asked me "Can you hear what name you are called by?" I learned that my name in this particular past life was Nora. Since my favorite scent is Lavender, which I always found extremely soothing and supportive when coming out of a migraine, I felt both needed to be combined as part of my healing journey. Hence, Lavenora was born. |
