Here we are again ... a new year brings new goals, new opportunities and new beginnings. Were you successful in the past with your goals? Are you a person who sets goals and follows through or drops them if things don't go the expected way? Do you find setting goals overwhelming? Essential Oils can help with keeping your mind focused and prevent exhaustion. In order for a goal to be successful, the goal should be SMART:
Specific ... include what you want to accomplish and include a place, a dollar amount you want to use or gain, and include resources to achieve your goal.
Measureable ... how do you know that you achieved your goal? Is there an emotion that you might feel? A certain milestone achieved?
Achievable ... set an achievable / attainable goal in connection to your life.
Realistic ... make the goal realistic.
Timely ... in what time frame would you like to achieve your goal? Set a date.

In order to achieve your goals, you can use several Essential Oils to keep you focused.
Rosemary Essential Oil improves mental clarity and is great to overcome mental fatigue.
Basil Essential Oil is stimulating to the nervous system and is supportive to the adrenal glands, e.g. when you are exhausted.
Grapefruit Essential Oil has uplifting qualities and combats depression, stress, headaches, or tiredness. It helps your body and mind detoxify which also helps with adjusting to the new time setting.
Bergamot Essential Oil is a natural anti-depressant. It's balancing properties make it a great travel companion. With its relaxing and calming benefits, it is great for insomnia.

Diffused any of these or a blend of essential oils in a diffuser on a daily basis. Another way to use essential oils is to dilute them in a roller-on bottle. Use a 10 ml roll-on filled with fractioned coconut oil or olive oil and put a few drops of essential oils in it. Roll-on onto your pulse points.
